MVPs for startups
From idea to a launchable product in weeks: the core features, a clean codebase, and room to grow.
Taking on new projects
I'm Dong Nguyen, a full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript developer. Web app, mobile app, backend, desktop or AI integration: I take your project from idea to production and keep it running after launch. Fintech, PropTech, construction, e-commerce and more.
From a first MVP to rescuing an existing app. One developer across the whole stack, so nothing gets lost between teams.
From idea to a launchable product in weeks: the core features, a clean codebase, and room to grow.
Multi-tenant SaaS, customer portals and admin dashboards with roles, billing and API keys.
iOS and Android apps for customers or field staff, with offline mode, photos and push notifications.
Scheduling, dispatch, job tracking and invoicing, synced with the platforms your business already uses.
Lending, payments, bank linking, KYC and e-signature flows, with sensitive data encrypted properly.
Online stores, print-on-demand, two-sided marketplaces and payment gateway integrations.
Live chat, video calls, live dashboards and price streaming that update without a refresh.
3D model viewers, interactive design tools, charts, and exports to PDF, Excel and CAD formats.
Native apps for Mac and Windows when the browser is not enough, including video and media tools.
LLM features inside your product, AI code review, and agents that operate your tools for you.
Telegram bots, browser extensions, scheduled jobs and workflows that remove manual, repetitive work.
Company sites, landing pages and content sites fast, SEO-ready and easy for your team to update.
Backends that connect your business to third-party services, with GraphQL or REST APIs your team can build on.
Docker, Terraform on AWS, Cloudflare, automated deploys and monitoring, set up so releases are boring.
Taking over an existing codebase: fixing bugs, upgrading dependencies, and adding features without breaking things.
Add AI to your product or your operations: from a simple OpenAI integration to agents that run whole workflows.
Customer support and sales assistants that answer from your own data, on your site, app or Telegram.
RAG over PDFs, contracts, manuals and knowledge bases, with sources cited in every answer.
Search that understands meaning, not just keywords, using embeddings and vector databases.
Pull structured fields out of invoices, IDs, forms and emails, then push them into your system.
Product descriptions, emails, social posts, reports and quotes drafted in your brand voice, in any language.
Summarize long threads, tag and route tickets, score leads, and detect sentiment automatically.
Transcription, subtitles, voiceover and AI-assisted video editing for media workflows.
Generate or edit images, read photos and screenshots, and check visual quality automatically.
Agents that use your tools and APIs to finish multi-step tasks, with human approval where it matters.
Automated review, repo analysis and internal tools that speed up your engineering team.
Translate apps, content and support replies at scale, with glossary and tone control.
Prompt caching, model routing, rate limits and per-request tracking so AI bills stay predictable.
Two products of mine you can open right now.
A native macOS video editor that your coding agent can drive. Claude Code or Codex cuts, captions, mixes and grades through a CLI and MCP, every edit is undoable, and you watch it happen on a real timeline.
I designed and built all of it: the Swift app and media pipeline, the CLI and MCP server, the agent skill kit, the plugin registry and this site.
bashcut.birchapps.com →A Vietnamese community platform for mental wellbeing: anonymous chat rooms on a schedule, one-on-one listening sessions, a mood journal, and a feed where people share what they're going through and get support.
I started it and lead the engineering: the GraphQL API, real-time chat, the web client and the admin tools, working with other contributors.
noinghe.com →Projects delivered across industries. Client names stay confidential, and so would yours.
Runs cleaning and maintenance for short-term rental companies. Reservations sync in from Hostaway and turn into jobs; managers schedule and dispatch them, and cleaners pick up and complete jobs in a mobile app.
Point-of-sale financing for merchants: lenders underwrite and manage loans, and a newer two-sided marketplace lets funders compete for applicants.
Views building models in 3D and provides wall, joist and truss design tools with drawing and report exports for steel-frame construction.
Member portal for market news, quotes and trading tables with live price streaming.
A platform for running applications and survey questionnaires, with an AI planner and tracking of every AI request.
Draft contracts online, sign them with OTP verification, and download a certified PDF.
An audiobook streaming product with web, mobile and admin clients, rebuilt across several stack generations.
A build-and-deploy setup that gives every developer their own environment on a small self-hosted cluster.
Turns a short YAML spec into a complete, working web app using a chain of AI agents.
Drafts software project quotes from a short brief, priced by region, tier and language, and exports a ready-to-send Excel file.
Reusable SaaS foundation with auth, two-factor login, API keys and access policies.
Windows port of an agent-driven video editor, with its own media engine instead of a web view.
A host app that downloads and runs independent mini-apps from a CDN, so features ship without an app store release.
Tools for daily AI-assisted development: account switching, a browser front end for coding agents, repo-to-prompt packing, automated code review and remote terminal sharing.
Industries I've shipped production software for. Chances are I already know yours.
Simple, transparent, and no surprises on scope.
We agree on the problem, the must-haves, and what done looks like before any code is written.
I pick a stack and architecture that fit your budget and can grow, and explain the trade-offs plainly.
You see working software early and often, not a big reveal at the end.
Deployment, monitoring and CI/CD set up properly, then fixes and new features as you grow.
I'm a full-stack developer in JavaScript and TypeScript. On the backend I work with Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, Prisma and Postgres; on the front end with Vue/Nuxt and React/Next.js; on mobile with React Native and Flutter.
Beyond the web I build native Mac apps in Swift and software that AI agents can operate: CLIs, MCP servers and skills that let Claude Code do real work in real apps, not just write code about it. BashCut is the biggest bet so far.
I'm at my best owning a product end to end: understanding the business, designing the architecture, writing the code, and shipping it. You talk to the person who builds it, not a chain of account managers.
Have a project in mind, or an existing app that needs a hand? Tell me what you're building and I'll get back to you with how I'd approach it.
